In this poignant podcast conversation, my guest shares a journey marked by adversity and resilience. From the scars of a tumultuous teenagehood, shaped by abandonment and suppressed emotions, he found solace and transformation through a healing connection with a partner. The revelation of a melanoma diagnosis became a crucible, urging him to navigate fear with trust in medical guidance. Post-recovery, the experience crystallized into a profound realization—embracing positivity and pursuing one’s true passion is paramount. Breaking free from societal expectations and childhood constraints, he now advocates for the pursuit of dreams, regardless of perceived feasibility, embodying the belief that, even in the face of uncertainty, the pursuit of one’s artistic aspirations can be a transformative and fulfilling journey.

2 questions I've gotten are:

Why I want to do it? and what is it about?

I want to do it because I think it’ll be fun.

Does that mean the podcast will be really funny?

-Sometimes, but it’s not meant to make you, the listener, laugh all the time.

I'm interested in variety when it comes to content. And what I really want is to hear and tell stories with a heart, hopefully humor, and that will inspire. I think we need to be inspired in these really odd times.

What’s it about?

Well: I gave my podcast a subtitle and it is :

SCENES FROM HERE - SCENES OUT THERE

and as I explain in one trailer I'll tell stories from my own backyard, so to speak, and I'll talk to other people about their stories.

Why is that?

That’s because I'm interested in telling personal stories and telling other's stories in conversations.

So; I'll switch up episodes between stories I tell, and these will be short stories, musings (that’s me pondering stuff…) and poems and such.

And it’ll be conversations with people who will tell their stories and these will be - for instance -

someone who sold everything they owned and become a nomad and someone who lost a big chunk of their nose due to melanoma.

My outset for these conversations is ‘HOW DOES IT FEEL’

I'm interested in the feelings that we humans experience.
