This body of work is still evolving. Here's a teaser
I create images to track the invisible -
to witness what happens when a person is pushed to the margins, not just in the moment of exclusion, but in the quiet that follows.
The hollow. The hum. The ache of still being here.
My current work, canseld’, emerges from personal and collective experiences of being cast out, erased, treated as if one no longer matters - or never did - or pushed to the margins, whether socially, digitally, or emotionally. I’m interested in what happens to the self in that moment: the quiet aftermath, the reckoning, the attempt to reclaim dignity and presence.
It’s not about misunderstanding, but about disconnection without dignity.
About being left without explanation.
About the subtle violences that happen when communication fails to honor who someone truly is.
This project sits in the blurry space between victim and perpetrator - because sometimes we are the ones doing the pushing.
I’m drawn to those moments: between lovers, between parents and children, between friends or strangers - when one shoves another into shadow.
It’s a rupture, and it reverberates.
Through portraiture, self-portraiture, and visual fragments, I gather the soft, unseen parts - loneliness, shame, the pull of reconnection - and hold them in light.
These photographs don’t seek to resolve.
They are a way of staying present with what we often try to turn away from.
There is no resolution promised here.
Instead, there is invitation - into reflection, into feeling, into discomfort.
And maybe, in that presence, something begins to shift.
In a world that cancels quickly and heals slowly, I’m interested in what lingers.
In what isn’t said.
But...In what can still be seen.
